Official Lucky Star Dub Trailer
Bandai has released the official dub trailer for Lucky Star. The voices are alright I suppose because Lucky Star is such a difficult anime to dub, but they still don’t all fit. I was a little disappointed to hear that Wendee Lee, who also did the dub for Haruhi, is voicing Konata. She did an alright job as Haruhi and sounds ok for Konata but it just doesn’t capture the original feel. Anyways you can view the trailer below and leave comments as to what you think of it:

This Dub leaves much to be desired…especially after the decent dub on haruhi. I think that bandai should actually hire the fansubers from youtube, check it out, i think you’ll be pretty surprised ^^.

why is there lucky star stuff on a haruhi fansite?
lucky star is a terrible anime I wish people would stop comparing it to TMoHS

i love lucky star partly due to the fact that the actors made the characters so great but that dub was so disappointing its like a totally different anime!

Aya Hirano played one of the characters, and a lot of the same crowd that watched Haruhi also watched Lucky Star. There are also some Haruhi references in the show.
