“The Adventures of Mikuru Asahina Episode 00″
The SOS Brigade films their movie for the school festival. Mikuru plays a battle waitress from the future who was sent to protect a young man played by Koizumi. Yuki Nagato plays an evil alien who is also a magician who is after Koizumi. A love triangle ensues with both Yuki and Mikuru vying for Koizumi’s affection. Kyon is the narrator while Haruhi directs.
“The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya Part 1″
The first day of high school. Kyon meets Haruhi after she introduces herself as having no interest in ordinary humans. After trying to talk to Haruhi, Kyon is the first one to get a response from her. This leads to Haruhi forming the SOS Brigade.
“The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya Part 2″
The Brigade meets with its four members: Haruhi, Kyon, Mikuru, and Yuki. Haruhi visits the Computer Society in order to get a computer. When they refuse, Haruhi blackmails them with pictures of Mikuru being violated. With the computer in hand, Haruhi continues to get Mikuru and herself dressed as bunny girls and head off to pass out fliers to promote the brigade. Yuki invites Kyon to her apartment later to discuss the situation.
“The Boredom of Haruhi Suzumiya”
Haruhi is once again bored. To remedy this, she enters the brigade in a baseball tournament with the help of Kyon’s sister and some of their classmates. The team is destined for failure but Yuki alters the game in their favor.
“The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya Part 3″
Yuki finished explaining to Kyon about the Integrated Data Entity and its relation to Haruhi and herself. Kyon is skeptical of her explanation. Meanwhile, Haruhi recruits a new member to the brigade, a mysterious transfer student Koizumi Itsuki. While searching the city for something interesting, Mikuru reveals her true identity to Kyon.
“Remote Island Syndrome Part 1″
Kyon is able to invite the brigade to a new island villa through a distant relative. The brigade enjoy their stay at first but are trapped inside later when storm hits. Soon the villa’s owner is found to be missing. He is later found dead in his room.
“Mystérique Sign”
The SOS Brigade get their first case shortly after their website is put up. The Computer Society president is missing and upon arrival to his apartment he is not there and nothing is out of the ordinary. When the brigade returns to the apartment later, they find a Data Entity is behind the disappearance.
“Remote Island Syndrome Part 2″
The SOS Brigade attempts to solve the mystery of the owner’s murder. Kyon and Haruhi search outside but find nothing. While taking shelter in a cave, Haruhi comes to a startling conclusion. The mystery is solved later inside.
“Someday in the Rain”
It’s a rainy day and Haruhi orders Kyon to go pick up a heater that had been “donated” as a sponsorship of their movie. Haruhi takes advantage of Kyon being gone by taking pictures of Mikuru in various outfits for the DVD cover. Itsuki and Yuki are left with them. When Kyon returns he finds only Yuki in the club room and decides to wait for the rest. However he falls asleep and everyone save for Haruhi leave for the day. When he is awakened, Haruhi and he leave with an umbrella Haruhi borrowed from the school.
“The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya Part 4″
Haruhi is very bored. Ryōko Asakura leaves a note for Kyon to meet with her in private. Ryōko attempts to kill Kyon to see how Haruhi would react but is saved by Yuki. Kyon later meets Mikuru from the future who reveals a clue for the future to Kyon.
“The Day of Sagittarius”
The Computer Society hopes to have their computer returned. To accomplish this they challenge the SOS brigade to a computer game they created, “The Day of Sagittarius III”. Haruhi of course accepts the challenge but the game is harder than expected.
“Live Alive”
It is the school’s Cultural Festival. All the brigade members participate in different activities. Mikuru helps her class as a waitress for a fried soba café. Yuki tells fortunes and Itsuki acts in a play. Kyon decides to visit the auditorium where various bands are playing, but falls asleep. When he wakes up he finds Haruhi and Yuki on stage.
“The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya Part 5″
Haruhi and Kyon go on a pointless search to find out what happened to Ryōko. Later, Haruhi tells Kyon about her childhood and how she became who she was. Again later, Koizumi tells Kyon about his organizations theories about Suzumiya and proves to Kyon that he is an ESPer.
“The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya Part 6″
Haruhi begins to feel jealous of Kyon and Mikuru. Unknowingly, she activates her power and becomes trapped in an alternate reality with Kyon. Soon a blue giant is seen destroying the school. When more appear, they try to take cover but it is nearly too late. But Kyon remembers the hints he received from Yuki and Mikuru and put them to use.
