Well after the success of the PS2 and PSP video games based on The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, the title is heading to the Wii in what will probably be the most successful game yet. The game will incorporate the Hare Hare Yukai dance using the Wii remote with up to three players to control Haruhi, Nagato and Mikuru. The game will also have an adventure mode with an original storyline. And as a bonus a Haruhi figurine is included with the game. What more could you ask for?
Bandai has released the official dub trailer for Lucky Star. The voices are alright I suppose because Lucky Star is such a difficult anime to dub, but they still don’t all fit. She did an alright job as Haruhi and sounds ok for Konata but it just doesn’t capture the original feel. Anyways you can view the trailer below and leave comments as to what you think of it:
The PS2 game Suzumiya Haruhi no Tomadoi features a version of Hare Hare Yukai with Haruhi & co in different costumes. Besides the costumes it is the same song though.
On January 31, PS2 video game Suzumiya Haruhi no Tomadoi goes on sale in Japan. The game is supposed to be an adventure game featuring Haruhi and other members of the SOS Brigade. To get people hyped about the game, a life size Haruhi figure was placed in front of a local Akihabara retailer.
